It is a very flattering shape, it also looks nice with a belt. The purple embroidery is stunning, and the almost chevron like design really makes it look flattering on. The puff sleeves are great. The dress is lined. Measured flat: Pit to pit: 42" Waist: 36" Hips: 46" Length: 56" There is a little stretch in the fabric (polyester), but best on a size
