Wooden QuaichThis carved Oak bowl fitted with a cast Pewter celtic knot work band and thistle handles, makes for a stunningly unique wooden quaich. It is finished on the bottom with cork. Originating from Scotland, the quaich is an ancient vessel or cup, traditionally used to celebrate a bond between two clans. It was used in the 17th century to offer welcome to travellers and is now commonly used in wedding and christening ceremonies. Approx Diameter: 85mm.
